Will a cemetary 'cart' be a lucrative business venture?

I%26#039;ve been to plenty of funerals lately and I%26#039;ve come up with an idea...I%26#039;d like to purchase a cart (much like a hot dog cart) and offer items such as flowers, potted plants, american flags, sympathy cards, water and other funeral related items to mourners to purchase as they grieve. They can then take these items and leave them at the final resting places! Because it will be a cart, I could wheel it all around the cemetary to the different funerals. I believe there is a HUGE market demographic with this venture...

Will a cemetary %26#039;cart%26#039; be a lucrative business venture?
You may have a problem with the cemetary. Its private property, and they dont allow people to sell things there. But you could always do business just outside the cemetary gates....
Reply:Susan had a much better idea. It would be tacky, and would probably anger most people, to have someone with a cart come wheeling up during their loved ones funeral.
Reply:Good Morning-

While your heart is in the right place, I personally feel this proposition would be over the top. Grieving people may be offended to see a %26quot;cart o%26#039; grief%26quot; at the grave site of their dearly departed. HOWEVER... you have an excellent idea if you alter it slightly. If you would like to put together grief baskets, or plants, flags, etc. what have you, you can always advertise at funeral homes, churches, casket, and head stone shops and offer free delivery to the grave site. Offer themes such as Military, Patriotic, Good Mother, Good Father, Sweet Child, Beloved Aunt/Uncle, Grandmother, Grandfather, the list could be endless and the more markets you open, the better you will do. You would put together things in those categories so people could order them, without the grief of having to pick things out individually. See?

Remember when it comes to business New Market Penetration is KEY. You have a good idea, start tweaking, you may be an entrepreneur yet!
Reply:People going into a cemetary have already decided if there is anything they want to leave at the graveside. I think it is a bad idea and in bad taste. Leave the families aloneto grieve.
